I read this at a time when I caring for my aunt and it was a great choice to read then, It gave me a wonderful perspective on how it felt to be the one that was being taking care of versus my role. I believe it gave my aunt (who has passed on July24th) and I an even closer relationship. Great book.

The works of Nouwen never fail. I want to continue learning from his wisdom.

This small book is filled with wisdom and compassion. It will be valued by everyone who truly care for others. Each member of our Care Team at church has one now!

I enjoy this series of Nouwens writings.
